Susan Lowe was born in Fresno, CA. Lowe is the author of JOSIE: A Story of Faith and Survival, she is a retired licensed marriage and family therapist with over twenty-nine years’ experience working with clients, many suffering from trauma. Besides maintaining a private practice, she also taught courses at CSU-Fresno, Reedley College, and Madera Community College Center. A first-generation American on her mother's side, Lowe is married and currently lives in Idaho.
