The Stardust Diaries, extracts from my life with Stardust Twinkles, is a series of journal entries about life with Jonathan Lane, or Stardust Twinkles, as he’s more commonly known to those who love him, such as his partner Tarn Swan who narrates the diaries.

Mr Swan began the journal in December 2004 and maintained it faithfully until 2009. Life with Twinkles is many things, but quiet isn’t one of them.

Tarn and Twinkles share what might be called an alternative lifestyle and that doesn't just mean the fact that they're homosexual or that Twinkles is a transvestite come part time drag queen. Some people might not *get* their way of life and perhaps might even be offended or disgusted by it and that's fine, but the fact is, it's their choice as consenting adults, it works for them, and they're very happy. We must all find a means of living life that feels true to who we are instead of trying to conform to other people's views and rules about what is 'normal.'
