Benas Bėrantas (b. 1989) is a Lithuanian author translated into 13 languages.
Among the 7 picture books for children published, he is mostly known for his titles about squirrel Tricky and raven Cherry: "Riešutortas" (eng. Hazelnut Cake), "Baubaimė" (eng. Mystery of a Missing Ball), "Pirmokykla" (eng. Journey to School), one of them being included in the prestigious White Ravens List.
Benas is also a writer of short stories for adults, which has been published as a collection called "Pirštų galiukais" (eng. Touched by Fingertips).
