A bookworm since early childhood, she gravitated toward the dark and gritty, reading, then writing, stories with controversial themes and flawed, complicated characters.
She lives and works in Tennessee, surrounded by kids, yarn, Smoky Mountain fog, and generations of inherited farm cats.
