Siddha Malilang was born in Yogyakarta on September 23, 1986. He started his writing career quite early as a junior journalist in the age of twelve. In 2004, he was approached by Gramedia to write adaptation of Mahabharata epoch for young adult audience. Right now, he shifts his interest in conducting some researches on children's literature while still writing some blurbs sometimes during his teaching activity.
