Philadelphia native Courtney Carola is an indie author who made her break into the literary world at the age of nineteen. In recent years, she began delving into the art of poetry with her words initially being shared on her Tumblr blog; she now self publishes her poetry books. She is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with her Bachelor's degree in Humanities: Liberal Studies and a minor in Business and Technology. She currently lives in New Jersey with her three cats and is a high school paraprofessional in a self contained classroom.

When she isn't writing or reading, Courtney likes to spend her time contemplating her entire existence so she can adequately describe herself on biography sections of various websites.
