Hollywood Psycho: The Julie Simon Story is a lighthearted thriller about, Julie, a young woman from Missouri who moves to LA in July of 1993 to pursue her dream of becoming a famous Hollywood Actress. After having some bad luck, everything turns around for her when she meets a group of well-connected young twenty- somethings who befriend her right away. She feels like she is on top of the world, living in the place she's always dreamed of and now falling into friendships with who she thinks are the right people. But when Julie is put into questionable situations that should be taken seriously, she brushes them off because all she's ever wanted to do was fit in. After a night of celebration, Julie wakes up with no memory of what happened in a random hotel room alone. Feeling scared and alone, she turns to the one person who she feels like she could trust the most, her new best friend. In a state of shock her new friend tells her that she cannot file the instances that happened for the fear of ruining her father's reputation and Julie not getting a movie role. It was another situation that shouldn't have been overlooked. Soon after Julie catches the guy she is falling for with her new best friend and decides that she has had enough and is going to move back home because this is no longer the life she desired. Even more questionable circumstances arise for Julie and instead of moving like she planned, she finds herself reverting back to the group she once felt like she couldn't live without. One night in the middle of the night she gets a call to meet her "friends" at an unlit hiking trail in the Hollywood Hills. She reluctantly goes. When she gets there she is met with a situation that is completely out of her hands and will lead her to get the fame she's always desired in a way she never imagined possible.
